Today was mostly about orchestration. We didn't get much done today in terms of music composition, but we started fleshing out the first section.
We begin working every day by first listening to our progress so far. This time, Jordan pointed out a few key spots that he wanted to change. So we ironed out a few kinks in the melody and structure of what we had, and moved on to layering the first A section.
When working with sound samples, things can get very tedious very quickly. We spent a long time deciding on what sample library to use, and trying to make things sound good. There is still work to be done, but the lower string part is pretty much in place (though it is still up for debate whether we keep the part or not). We also added a very high violin cluster to aid in the transition into the B section.
The only thing left to do to the A section at this point is to sprinkle a few string parts here and there.
